Refund and Return Policy

At Black is Brown Entertainment, we take pride in delivering high-quality, exclusive merchandise that represents our brand and culture. Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days from the date of purchase. Unfortunately, if 30 days have passed since your purchase, we cannot offer a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, unwashed, and in the same condition that you received it, with original tags and packaging intact.

Non-returnable Items

Certain items cannot be returned for hygiene or limited-edition reasons. These include:

  • Gift cards

  • Discounted or sale items

  • Limited-edition drops or collaborations

  • Items purchased during promotional events

  • Accessories such as hats, caps, or beanies (for hygiene reasons)


Proof of Purchase

To complete your return, you must provide a receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer or distributor. Email it directly to us at refunds@blackisbrown.co.za


Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you by email whether your refund has been approved or rejected.

If approved, your refund will be processed within 7–10 working days, and a credit will be applied automatically to your original method of payment.


Partial Refunds

Partial refunds may be granted (if applicable) for:

  • Items not in their original condition (with minor packaging wear not due to our error)

  • Items returned after 30 days but within 45 days, subject to a restocking fee

  • Products missing minor packaging elements but otherwise in good condition


Sale Items

Only regular-priced merchandise may be refunded.
Sale or discounted items are final and cannot be refunded or exchanged.


Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective, damaged, or incorrectly shipped.
To request an exchange, please contact us at refunds@blackisbrown.co.za with your order number and supporting photos if applicable.


Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return.
Once the returned item is received, a gift card or voucher will be issued to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift, we’ll send the refund to the original purchaser.


Shipping Returns

To return your product, please mail it to:

You’ll be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on your location, the time it takes for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
For expensive or limited-edition items, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee receipt of returned items.


Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet:

  1. Check your bank account again.

  2. Contact your credit card company; it may take time before your refund is officially posted.

  3. Next, contact your bank — processing times vary.
